Oxford Heatpumps Ltd is a newly set up company, however that’s not to say we are new to heatpumps. If you arrived here from our main page you will see we are associated with G M Bailey Air Conditioning Ltd. Indeed we where doing a good deal of heatpumps through our main business and felt it made sense to adopt a name for this part of our business which expressed what we did and where we are geographically, hence Oxford heatpumps Ltd.

Oxford Heatpumps is privately owned and financed directly by its owners and run from our existing offices.

Air conditioning and heat pumps are really very similar. The basic principle of evaporating and condensing special refrigerant gasses within the system is almost identical, it is really a matter of the way the energy is transferred and distributed that differs between the two.

Most of our air conditioning systems are reverse cycle air to air heat pumps and our involvement with ground source heat pumps has grown as our existing suppliers have started to produce heat pumps for wet (radiators and underfloor heating) systems.

Daikin produce the Altherma air source heat pump as do Mitsubishi and LG. We have also entered into the Delongi (ICS) partnership programme.
